Enterprise product leadership. Hands-on AI product building.

I'm Bryan Burke. I bring more than 15 years across product, program and engineering roles at Salesforce and Cisco to hands-on AI product building—solving specific problems and helping teams decide what is worth building next.

About Bryan + BurkeApps ↗

I have spent my career making complicated work easier to understand, operate, and improve.

My career began in engineering and systems integration, then moved through enterprise delivery, customer success, product leadership, and organizational change. At Salesforce and Cisco, I worked across business, technical, customer, and executive teams to turn fragmented needs into products and operating systems people could act on.

I operate a small rental portfolio and build software around the work I know: tenant follow-up, repairs, bills and incomplete records. I turn those problems into requirements, working experiences and tests. My goal is software that helps people finish the work, not just track it.

Leadership at scale, told through the decisions that mattered.

These stories show how I connected customer context, product judgment, cross-functional execution, and human control inside large enterprise systems.

Product and program leadership
Salesforce ↗

Making customer insights actionable at enterprise scale

I owned the product roadmap for IdeaExchange and Voice of the Customer, along with the programs that brought those insights into product teams and closed the loop with customers.

How the work connected

Customer insight systemsSalesforce
  1. Capture customer ideas in IdeaExchange and sales-led insights in Voice of the Customer

  2. Bring roadmaps, webinars and future direction to customers for comment

  3. Connect the evidence to product teams' prioritization and delivery work

  4. Return scheduled responses and delivery updates to the people who contributed

The product decision behind this workflow

I wanted the relationship to become more proactive. Better data capture helped teams understand the request; webinars, future-focused articles and roadmap discussions gave customers opportunities to respond earlier. Scheduled responses and a delivery feedback loop made listening an ongoing product practice, not just an intake form.

Enterprise product leadership
Cisco · 2025–2026 ↗

Turning account planning into a living, human-reviewed system

At Cisco, I owned the day-to-day product work for AI-powered account planning: bringing scattered research into a generated draft that sellers could improve with their own account knowledge.

How the work connected

AI-first account planningCisco · 2025–2026
  1. Assemble internal account context and public company developments

  2. Generate a first master plan for the account team to review

  3. Capture role-specific input and approve contributions for the next iteration

  4. Export adjustable plans and internal or customer-facing presentation outputs

The product decision behind this workflow

I treated the generated plan as the beginning of a workflow. Account-team members needed places to contribute their knowledge, an approval step, and a new iteration that incorporated accepted input. The product reduced manual assembly work while keeping the account team responsible for the plan.

Enterprise transformation
Salesforce Lightning adoption ↗

Guiding enterprise change at 100,000-user scale

Marriott’s move from Salesforce Classic to Lightning showed why enterprise adoption is a product, business and change-management problem—not merely a software rollout.

What I’m building now.

BurkeApps is my product studio. Some products work together; others explore a focused problem on their own. Each starts with human friction, maps the full system, and keeps consequential decisions under human control.

  1. An earlier dashboard concept groups synthetic demo issues for review.
  2. A historical inbox shows demo messages awaiting review.
  3. This historical screen shows AI-picked, pre-assigned tickets—not verified current behaviour.
  4. The demo ledger shows a memo-code match for review.
  5. A historical tax screen uses synthetic demo figures—not current tax rules or advice.
  6. An illustrative deposit draft connects example deductions and photos for review.

Historical screens and synthetic demo data—not live usage or performance results. Legal, tax, and AI outputs are illustrative; a person reviews consequential actions.

Remodel Reimagined

A development build pairing a fixed demo room concept with transparent assumptions, deterministic planning ranges, and practical project sequencing.

The current demo deliberately separates inspiration from prediction: the bundled before image and Warm modern concept are fixed sample artwork, while room measurements feed only the deterministic estimate.

Working philosophy

Build faster.
Judge carefully.

AI can compress the distance between an idea and working software. It does not eliminate the hard parts of product leadership.

01

Start with lived friction

The best starting point is often a workflow I know well enough to question.

02

Map the system

Make the people, information, approvals, and exceptions visible before deciding what to automate.

03

Build to learn

Working software exposes decisions and failure modes that a polished mockup can hide.

04

Keep people in control

AI can assemble context and accelerate execution. Trust still depends on clear context and accountable judgment.
